Austral Granos seeks to promote the conservation and care of the environment at the location where its crops are concentrated. Weather conditions of this area are considered to be one of the best for oats production in South America.
Due to this effort, our plant has been regarded by the national environmental authorities as a project with positive impact.
In addition, we are a company that works to reduce its carbon footprint. We promote self-sustainability, using waste from our productive tasks (oat hulls) by burning it and taking advantage of the CO2 captured during the annual cultivation of this cereal, thus generating the steam needed for the cooking and drying processes of our products.
