Oat Groats are raw oat grains that have been dehulled and kilned in order to deactivate its enzymes, mainly lipase and peroxidase, thus preventing rancidity caused by enzymatic hydrolysis. Furthermore, this process ensures preservation of its natural colour and aroma.
